Dr. Mike Andrews, DVM
Dr. Mike Andrews graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1970.  He started with a mix animal practice  Mesquite Texas and in 1990 he limited his practice to small animal.  Presently Dr Andrews is practicing at Terrell Veterinary Center. Dr Andrews has 2 children Jason a sales rep for Webester Veterinary Supply and Lisa a CPA in Orange County California.  He has 5 grandchildren 4 boys and 1 girl. His interest  outside of work are his grandkids and ranching.  He with his son and grandchildren are raising  show steers and or very active in  Hopkins County 4 H program.  Dr Andrews is anxious to finish rehab after having both knees replace in order to resume competing in cutting horse and ranch horse  competition.

 

 Dr. Russell A. New, DVM

Dr. Russell A. New is a 1988 graduate of Arkadelphia Senior High School. After receiving his high school diploma, he entered Ouachita Baptist University on a football scholarship and majored in biology and chemistry. In 1993 Dr. New was awarded his B.S. degree, and the following September, Dr. New moved with his wife to Baton Rouge in order to attend Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. After completing the four year curriculum at LSU, he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.  He then practiced medicine for nine years in Texarkana, Texas in a small animal practice.  Looking for a change, Dr. New moved his family to the Dallas area in 2006. Dr. New has been practicing veterinary medicine at Terrell Veterinary Center since November 2006. With his wife Denise, he has two children, Samuel and Rachel, with whom he enjoys camping, boating, hunting, and fishing. 


 

Thomas Mosley
Practice Manager
Thomas Mosley is a 1988 graduate of Terrell High School, he a native of Terrell and has a vested interest in the people of Terrell. Thomas serves on the Terrell Independent School Board as Vice President for the last 2 years of his 5 years of service. He is married to Stephanie and has 2 children, Chase and Lauren. Thomas is our Practice Manager and  has worked in the Veterinary industry for the past 23 years. He came to our practice in July 07 after serving as Office Manager for 1 other clinic for 21 years. Thomas enjoys helping people, coaching his daughter’s soccer team, going to local school events, and messing with his cows.


Ashley Daniel
Surgical Prep Technician
Ashley has been working in the world of veterinary medicine for 8 years. She has been a Vet. Tech for about 7 of those years. Ashley came to Terrell Veterinary Center in Aug. 2007 and her current position at Terrell Veterinary Center is Surgical Tech. She graduated from Terrell High School where she enjoyed showing sheep. Ashley currently has 6 dogs in which she love’s like her children. In Ashley’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and hanging out with her friends.
 

Amy Martin
Examination Technician
Amy Martin has worked at Terrell Veterinary Center since Jan. 2000. She grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas and graduated from South Grand Prairie High School. She attended North Lake College to become a travel agent while working part time for a vet clinic, she decided to stay with the animals. Amy moved to WillsPoint, Texas in 1998, and now lives in Canton for the past 3 years. She is married to Bruce Martin and has 3 great daughters, Haley, Holly and Riley.

Veronica Schweitzer
Tech Assistant
Veronica Schweitzer has been a veterinary assistant at Terrell Veterinary Center for a little over two years. She is our Kennel Supervisor keeping our four-legged visitors and clients happy and engaged during their stay at TVC. She enjoys traveling, riding 4-wheelers, and hanging out with friends.

Martha Travis
Receptionist
After 30 years of teaching Spanish in Richardson ISD, Martha Travis came to Terrell Veterinary Center in November of 2007. A graduate of TCU and the University of North Texas Martha lives in Kaufman with her husband Gary who is the Head Teaching Professional at Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Rockwall. Martha serves as the Lay Leader for First United Methodist Church in Kemp and volunteers her time to assist non-English speakers in the community. She enjoys knitting, oil painting, and caring for her quarter horse, Marilyn. They also have 3 dogs, Mattie a Welsh Corgi, Murphy a mixed Corgi and Mr. Hugs a 5 pound Chihuahua.
